I have the first edition of this recipe collection in hard copy. This is the 2nd edition in Kindle format. Not a Kindle user, neither am I. But Amazon lets you download the software for FREE to your computer and then you download free book. I just did it, and it took less than 5 minutes. I am not sure this is a great gift, but its definitely a good resource for you to have. I *LOVE* my crockpot!
